Study Visa Documents Checklist in Azerbaijan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Application form
    \u2022 Fully completed in English, signed and dated by the applicant himself (signed by both parents in the case of minors under 18 years of age)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Passport
    \u2022 Valid for at least 6 months after the date of your transit through Azerbaijan
    \u2022 Signed by the owner
    \u2022 Passport not older than 10 years (issued within the last 10 years)
    \u2022 At least 1-2 free \u201cvisa pages\u201d
    \u2022 Undamaged photos are securely attached to the passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Two photos
    \u2022 New! Should not be more than 6 months old.
    \u2022 The front of the face is 70-80% (32-26mm) coverage of the photo.
    \u2022 Uniform and white background.
    \u2022 Clear facial features and eyes – not covered by hair or spectacle frames.
    \u2022 Size 3×4<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. ID card
    \u2022 Valid for at least two months after the date of your transit through Azerbaijan<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Residence permit\/Visa (if your country of residence and citizenship are different)
    \u2022 Valid for at least two months after the date of your transit through Azerbaijan<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Photocopies
    \u2022 Copy of the main page of your passport
    \u2022 1 copy of residence permit\/visa (if your country of residence and citizenship are different)
    \u2022 Copies of previous visas
    \u2022 Copy of visa for final destination (if available)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Travel itinerary
    \u2022 Flight booking
    \u2022 Valid (existing) hotel\/accommodation booking\/booking with full address (name, street, city, zip code, contact info, booking link)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Confirmation of the purpose of the visit
    \u2022 Original letter of admission to an educational institution in Azerbaijan, including details of the course, duration and cost of study with proof of payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Letter from local employer\/sponsor (proof of employment)
    The letter must contain:
    \u2022 Name, mailing address and phone number of the sponsor\/company
    \u2022 Information about the applicant’s working position, date of commencement of employment and salary
    \u2022 Duration of leave (estimated date of resumption of duties) and purpose of travel
    \u2022 A valid copy of the trade license and company ownership documents (if the person is the owner of the company).
    \u2022 Letter from university (if student)
    \u2022 Copy of the sponsor’s valid passport and residence visa (if any) attached to the sponsor’s letter (if the applicant is a dependent)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Proof of availability of funds
    In case of a scholarship:
    \u2022 Confirmation of receipt of a grant or scholarship from the relevant foundation of Azerbaijan
    In case of self-financing:
    \u2022 As a rule, there are several recognized ways to prove your financial sufficiency:
    \u2022 Personal bank statement showing your financial movements (at least for the last 3 months)
    \u2022 Credit card
    \u2022 Cash
    \u2022 Traveller\u2019s checks
    \u2022 Salary
    \u2022 proof of work
    \u2022 A document confirming the sponsor’s willingness to cover your expenses during your stay
    \u2022 Confirmation of prepaid accommodation
    \u2022 Document on residence in a private house
    \u2022 Confirmation of prepaid transport
    \u2022 Other
    In case of sponsorship:
    \u2022 Sponsor’s current account bank statement for the last 3 months (showing sponsor’s name, ending balance and issue date).
    \u2022 Sponsorship letter, copy of the first page of the sponsor’s passport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Medical insurance
    \u2022 Valid for the entire duration of the requested visa during your stay in Azerbaijan
