Study Visa Documents Checklist in Thailand

1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
2. Visa application form completely filled out
3. Recent (4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant
4. Recommendation letter addressed to the Consulate
5. Letter of acceptance from the concerned academic institute/organization
6. For those wishing to study in a Private institution, an official letter from the Ministry of Education of Thailand, or other sub-authorities concerned, approving the enrolment of foreign students and a copy of the registration certificate of the concerned academic institute are required
7. Academic record and the Student ID (if currently studying)
8. For those wishing to attend seminars, or training sessions, or internships, a recommendation letter from the concerned organization addressed to the Consulate is also required.

Tourist / Visitor Visa Documents Checklist in Thailand

1. A passport with at least 6 months validity.
2. Approx. 8 passport size photographs not older than six months.
3. Proof of return flight tickets.
4. Reservation of hotels.
5. Bank statement or proof of funds (at least 20,000 to 40,000 Baht per person)
